Cromwell Road is the reimagining of an Edwardian home in Hove as a luxurious retreat, stripping away years of unsympathetic additions to restore clarity and flow. The interiors are light-filled and spacious, while the landscaped garden balances grandeur with intimacy, reinforcing the sense of calm sophistication.
Externally, the design combines traditional character with modern influence. Low-maintenance composite materials and crittal-style windows and doors define the rear elevation, while the front retains its period charm. Planning consent was secured for a first-floor terrace and reconfigured extensions, which were finished in bold black cladding to create a confident architectural statement.
